removing tranny on 86' Bronco II

Just pulled the tranny and clutch out of the 86' Bronco II and you might be able to see the heat cracks on the fly wheel. so its in need of a resurfacing and it needs a new clutch. but as a smart practice if you are already going to pull the tranny you should always replace the clutch at the same time to save a grundel in time and money.
I also switch the bell housing ( the round part of the tranny that bolts to the engine)of the good tranny with the bad/old tranny because the slave cylinder on the old tranny was in much better shape.

Last upgrade I made to my truck

My old automatic transfer case or 4x4 whent out so I up graded to a manual 4x4 shifter no lousy electronics to get in the way only took about two hours of total time but it was stretched across 4 days looking for all the parts at the junk yard.

The other project I am working on

1986 bronco II with a bad tranny. I just finished pulling the drive lines, transfer case, starter and all the bolts from the tranny. Man where some of those bolts buggers I had to heat some of them for about 20 minuets before I got them to budge. but tomarow I should hav ethe tranny out and be able to check the clutch to see if its in good shape!

my rig under construction

I just removed my intake manifold in preparation to replace one of my fuel injectors. if you do this be sure to label all you vacuum hoses or you may put one back in the wrong place than your ford truck wont suck or blow!
